“This club has a Dot Punch Regular face pattern, in a Maxwell style, the trade mark “Out line” Star of William Gibson of Longhorn, in the oval reads George Plum & Co, Bristol, Special, Warranted, Hand Forged and signed Geo. Plum, On the Sole reads BAXPIN MASHIE. Research tells us that William Gibson of Kinghorn Fife “Gibson of Kinghorn” supplied heads to many makers and professionals. His “Outline Star” mark was registered in 1906 although he started using it when he began his business in the 1890’s.This Club is in good playable condition with a new Grip and Whipped with waxed linen thread which has then been coated with shellac to protect it from any bag damage that may occur. Please note: All our Clubs have been fully restored by a professional restorer of Hickory Golf Clubs to playing condition. Your club/clubs will also be transported with proper Golf Club packaging.
