A print of Cuyp portrait ‘young Dutch Golfer’ Albert Cuyp 1620 1691, a Dutch painter from a family of artists. He painted mostly landscapes, seascapes, winter scenes and figures. Cuyp is recognized for his golf painting of a Dutch child which was first printed in 1908 as a photogravure on rice paper laid on India paper and signed as artist’s proof. the remainder of the first printing was done on India paper in sepia. Another printing was done for the A Golfer’s Gallery of Old Masters in 1920 in colour. A larger size lithograph and also a miniature were run in both colour and in sepia in the 1970’s.
