Research tells us that Robert Forgan & Sons,Ltd of St Andrews became clubmakers to HRH the Prince of Wales in 1863 and used the prince’s plume of three feathers as his mark. He was primarily a wooden clubmaker and is thought to have assembled and sold iron clubs as early as the 1860’s.
This Club is in good playable condition with a new Grip and Wax coated thread use for the whipping then finished with Acrylic to protect it from any bag damage that may occur.
