Face marked with a Hyphen with side design pattern, Stamped Halley with the shell design on the face. Research tell use that James B.Halley & Co London, Halley’s was a retailer and relative latecomer to the golf business. They sold other lines prior to introducing their own “”Praymid”” brand in 1926. The “”Shell”” brand mark was used +1926. Besides selling golf clubs, Halley sold many brands of golf balls and other equipment. Other Brands were “”Cross Swords””+1923 and “”Circle H””+1923. This Club is in good playable condition with a new Grip and Wax coated thread use for the whipping then finished with Shellac to protect it from any bag damage that may occur. Please note: All our Clubs have been fully restored by a professional restorer of Hickory Golf Clubs; it/they will arrive with a Tarnish Guard to protect it from the damp air which will allow it to rust, and should be replaced after cleaning.
