Product Description

This club has a smooth face with a scare neck maple head and finished in a Red Burgundy stain and laminated, across the crown reads The St. Andrews 2000  Millennium putter, the shaft is stamped 143 of 500 issued MADE IN SCOTLAND and the sole plate is a full wrap around with three Brass holding it firmly in position. The Golf Classics ‘modern putter’ comprises a maple head, hickory shaft and leather or suede grip. Entirely hand made and finished in the workshop in St Andrews.

This putters is fully playable with the wood heads ‘scared’ or spliced to the hickory shafts for maximum ‘Hand to Ball’ feel. Research tells us that St. Andrews Golf Co. Ltd’s dates back to 1881. They are the last remaining Scottish golf club manufacturer, a result of the major consolidation that has gone on in the industry in Scotland. The company is home to three of Scotland’s most famous club making brands: George Nicoll, Tom Stewart, and of course, St Andrews Golf Co.  This Club is in good playable condition with a original Grip and Wax coated thread use for the whipping then finished with Shellac to protect it from any bag damage that may occur. Please note: All our Clubs have been fully restored by a professional restorer of Hickory Golf Clubs.
